geek in full swing

I recently stumbled upon my very own geek. Had some inklings that I was kind of geeky, but was very surprised to find out just how geeky. More on this realization to come....

Well, it has been a long week! With Keegan being sick we have had to miss all his activities. Needless to say that I haven't gotten out of the house much this week! Not to mention that I am tried of being covered in runny nose mess...I keep hoping he will get the concept of blowing and wiping...however the result has been...him blowing raspberries and wiping his nose from one side of his face to the other...neither having the desired result! Albeit, slightly amusing on occasion!

charity...

Well as stated below, we went Pear picking on the weekend. Today was the day that Keegan and I went to drop off our bounty to the charities that could use them. Needless to say that not all went according to plan. Thought that the whole load would be taken by one, three later the pears have been delivered. Eureka Clubhouse, AVI (AIDS Vancouver Island) and finally St. George's United Church Soup kitchen...not to mention all the other charities that the others dropped their pears off too. Didn't actually realize how many charities existed in our community.

Well a good feeling for the day.
