Well, it has been crazy and I was going to post all that has gone...but alas Rye returned home and the dog is sleeping thru the night! SO much has happened in the last week...that I find I am to exhausted to even complain about it.

geek in full swing

I recently stumbled upon my very own geek. Had some inklings that I was kind of geeky, but was very surprised to find out just how geeky. More on this realization to come....

Well, it has been a long week! With Keegan being sick we have had to miss all his activities. Needless to say that I haven't gotten out of the house much this week! Not to mention that I am tried of being covered in runny nose mess...I keep hoping he will get the concept of blowing and wiping...however the result has been...him blowing raspberries and wiping his nose from one side of his face to the other...neither having the desired result! Albeit, slightly amusing on occasion!

charity...

Well as stated below, we went Pear picking on the weekend. Today was the day that Keegan and I went to drop off our bounty to the charities that could use them. Needless to say that not all went according to plan. Thought that the whole load would be taken by one, three later the pears have been delivered. Eureka Clubhouse, AVI (AIDS Vancouver Island) and finally St. George's United Church Soup kitchen...not to mention all the other charities that the others dropped their pears off too. Didn't actually realize how many charities existed in our community.

Well a good feeling for the day.

well I have officially become, well actually at this moment I cannot for the life of me think if the right word. Needless to say, Keegan and I played outside in the rain today...with no rain coats /round of applause /obligatory speech of thanks

this is a very big deal for me!

Oh this so sucks...

Decidedly I am going to bed, dreading what the morning will bring as I feel like utter shit at the moment and feel all those "o" so wonderful flu/sick symptoms beginning to plague my body! Ugh, just what I need, a fall cold.

I have been pondering, not really anything of any significance, but rather those mindless ponders when you can't get your mind to focus on any one particular thought. While this happens often, it has been rather a perturbing nuisance

If my head does not stop feeling like it is about to explode at any moment any time soon, I, well actually I am not really sure what I am going to do. But it needs to STOP!

This has been going on for a straight week, the ebb and flow is driving me nuts...not like anyone is reading this, so in essence I am complaining to myself, lovely.

I can't say I have gone off the deep end as most already think that I have done that, ock! Oh well such is such.

SGA Season 3

Woot, I am now the proud owner of season 3 SGA! I now have until the first to make it through the entire season to be caught up for Season 4 premier...break out the popcorn and soda I am in for a marathon!

And just like that...I was on a roll and then my muse took my in entirely different direction, in fact so different a little ficlit was born, dirty bugger. I sat looking at my screen for an hour and NOTHING, nada, zip, zilch...I am most assured that get the lack of picture. Oh well, I am sure he will find his way back soon.

On another note less then 10 hours and hubby will be home...woot!

less then 46 hours

In less then 46 hours Ryan will finally be home. Woot! It will be nice to have him back, maybe he will actually take out the garbage and mow the lawn...I mean that is why one gets married is it not!

On a side note that makes me look like a total geek. I have been published on wraithbait.com and currently have 8 reviews, while over 1000 hits! Woot, go me!

On another side note, I feel that I should be posting more posts, so hence forth dribble post will be found here!

I learned something new...well actually a couple of things

Woot, look what I learned! Flickr to Blogger, now I will just have to wait till I am a little more awake and play around with the coding and see what mess I can create, I mean what genius I can come up with.

I have also come to the realization that, if I don't share my blog addy with anyone, no one is going to read it and share in my mindless musings or see what wacky new thing I have done...how sad that is!

Mind you on the other hand, I can rant and rave about what ever little idea fancies me at the moment with no one the wiser, not to mention anyone finding out my secret obsession with SG-1 and SGA...let alone the fanfic that I am addicted too. Shhh...don't tell!

Upon further consideration and therefore a complete lack of understanding...I have become overwhelmed and lost it!

Needless to say, my abilities with html...suck! So now I have to start again...arg!

it has been a bit....

Well, it has been a bit since my last post. Needless to say it has been non-stop go go go! Keegan's birthday was on the 27th and it went really well, the weather held out...phew!

On Wednesday, we were up at the crack of dawn for the beginning of our trip to Vegas, the trip was great until our return trip turned into the longest day possible! Stupid Ferries!

And now I am just playing catch-up, working on the garden, suffering from allergies, and experiencing a whole new wake-up time...ugh!

Well, it has been a crazy past 2 days. Keegan decided that he was going to have some cork as his dessert! Which had Mommy on the phone with the Nurses Hotline trying to get through to Poison Control...needless to say that neither told me anything that I didn't already know! Argh! However, it did alleviate some of the stress talking to someone.

Don't even get me started on dealing with Starchoice later that night...while furious at Starchoice, I would have to say their CSR was very nice and we had a nice little chat!

I also came to the realization that I was behind in my dates...and now only have 3 days before family arrives and 5 days before Keegan's birthday and only 10 days before we leave!

So much to do, so little time!

ramblings

Needless to say I am figuring this out one step at a time! Being new to html, I figure I will eventually get this to where I want it to be. Kinda like my house! I might actually finish it just in time to sell and move out! Oh well. Such is the life of a military wife. It did bring us to Comox, BC and it has been a whirl wind of adventure...along with the birth of our first child. Who is no longer a baby, as he will be 2 on the 27th...and if that wasn't enough of a deterrent, I just dis-assembled his crib today as he has moved into a toddler bed! sniff sniff

argh!

I finally got on! Stupid e-mail address...worked for over two hours trying to figure out the problem.

Auto-fill can be your best friend, especially on those tedious forms you find throughout the world or it can turn into your worst nightmare...especially if you don't pay attention and assume you always time everything correctly!
